  1. Reservations Policy:

    Reservation Policy: Event Set-up and Clean-up
    Your reservation times will include your set-up and break-down/clean-up time. This adjustment is aimed at ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all our clients.
    Event Ending and Clean-up Requirements
    As per the policy, your event is expected to conclude at least 1 hour prior to the contract end time. This additional hour will allow our dedicated team to perform essential clean-up tasks to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and prepare the venue for subsequent events. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to this schedule to ensure a seamless transition between events.
    Additional Time Purchase
    We understand that certain events may require extra time for set-up or break-down/clean-up. In such cases, you have the option to purchase additional hours to meet your specific needs. Our team will gladly assist you with the booking process and provide the necessary support to ensure your event is a success.
    Early Entry Prohibition
    To ensure fairness and accommodate the scheduling of various events, we regret to inform you that early entry is not permitted. We kindly request that you adhere to your designated reservation time to allow sufficient time for our staff to prepare the venue and ensure a seamless experience for all guests.

  2. Payments
    At Creative and Elegant Events, we strive to provide a seamless and stress-free experience for our clients. To ensure a smooth booking process, we have established a clear payment structure as follows:
    1. To initiate the invoice and secure your event date, a non-refundable deposit of $100 will be required at the time of booking. This deposit will be credited towards the final balance due. Additionally, a refundable security/damage fee of $250 must be submitted upon booking.
    2. Payment plans can be arranged if needed. If you opt for a payment plan, the first installment must be made within three days of receiving the invoice. We understand the importance of flexibility, and our team will work with you to create a suitable payment schedule.
    3. It is essential to note that dates will not be reserved without payment. Once the deposit and security/damage fee have been received, your event date will be officially secured.
    4. The outstanding balance of the total rental fee must be paid no later than 14 days prior to the event. This policy ensures that all arrangements are in place for a successful event. Please be mindful that failure to settle the balance by the specified deadline may result in the forfeiture of your deposit, following our cancellation policy.
    5. We value the trust you place in us to provide a remarkable event experience. Consequently, a thorough inspection will be conducted to ensure adherence to our policies and no damage has occurred. Assuming all guidelines are followed and no damage is found, the security/damage deposit will be promptly returned within ten days after the event.
    At Creative and Elegant Events, we prioritize transparency and reliability when it comes to payment procedures. We aim to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients, from the initial booking to the successful conclusion of your event.   3. Cancellations:

    Please take note of the following guidelines regarding cancellations and refunds:
    1. Client Cancellations: In the unfortunate event that you, as the client, decide to cancel your event, we regret to inform you that no refunds will be provided. All payments made towards the event will be non-refundable. However, you can take solace in the fact that the security/damage deposit will be returned to you in full within 10 days of the cancellation. We aim to process this refund swiftly, ensuring your peace of mind.
    Additionally, we offer flexibility in rescheduling your event. You have up to 6 months from the original payment date to schedule a new event with us. This allows for a possible change in circumstances and the opportunity to celebrate your occasion in the near future.
    2. Creative & Elegant Events' Cancellations: In the unlikely event that Creative & Elegant Events is compelled to cancel your event due to unforeseen circumstances or any other valid reason, we will promptly provide you with notice of the cancellation. In such cases, you will have two options:
    a. Deposit Application: You may choose to apply your deposit to a future event, ensuring that you can still host your occasion with us. This option allows you to retain the value of your deposit and enjoy our services in the future.
    b. Full Refund: Alternatively, if you prefer not to reschedule your event, we completely understand. In that case, we will refund you in full for any payments made towards the event. Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends to addressing any financial concerns in the event of our cancellation.

While cancellations can be disappointing, we aim to handle them with utmost professionalism and understanding. 4. Security:

We understand the importance of maintaining a secure environment during any event, and therefore we provide all necessary security measures through third-party supervision. Our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring that your event runs smoothly and without any security concerns. We work closely with trusted security professionals who are trained to handle various situations and maintain a safe environment for everyone in attendance.
However, as event planners, we also recognize that the security needs may vary depending on the size, intensity, and nature of each event. Therefore, we reserve the right to require the renter to provide additional security and supervision if deemed necessary. This ensures that we can adapt to any unique circumstances and implement measures that best suit the specific event. By considering the size, intensity, and nature of your event, we can determine the appropriate level of security required. Our goal is to create a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees, and we are committed to making sure that your event is both successful and safe. Venue Usage:
If there are serious infractions, the group or individual may be asked to leave the facility immediately. Creative & Elegant Events reserves the right to withhold the security deposit for rule violations, not leaving
the facility by specified time stated on reservation, damage or excessive clutter that requires additional staff clean-up, or last-minute rental cancellations.

  1. In this case, the building management has decided that smoking is not allowed inside the building. This includes all forms of smoking, including e-cigarettes, vaporizers, and hookahs.

    If you need to smoke, you can do so outside of the building, but you must use the designated smoking areas as defined by state laws and Will County regulations. These areas are usually located away from the entrance to the building. It's important to follow these rules not only to avoid fines.

  2. We warmly welcome you to Creative and Elegant Events, where we strive to provide exceptional experiences for all our visitors. As a responsible and conscientious establishment, we kindly remind everyone that animals, with the exception of certified service animals, must not be brought onto the premises.
    The safety and comfort of all our guests are of utmost importance to us. While we understand the deep bond between humans and animals, we have implemented this policy to ensure an environment that is suitable for all visitors. Certified service animals, trained to assist individuals with disabilities, are exempt from this policy as they are essential companions to our guests who rely on their assistance.
    By implementing this policy, we aim to maintain cleanliness, protect individuals with allergies or phobias, and ensure the safety of both our guests and any animals that may enter the premises. We kindly request your cooperation in complying with this policy for the benefit of all visitors.

  3. Creating Memorable Experiences While Respecting Noise Ordinances At Creative and Elegant Events, we pride ourselves on providing extraordinary experiences that enchant and captivate our valued guests. In our pursuit of excellence, we would like to inform all attendees that the use of music and DJs during events must align with the Will County noise ordinance.
    Our commitment to ensuring a harmonious atmosphere for all tenants means that music played at our events cannot disrupt or disturb fellow visitors. We kindly request that our esteemed guests and DJs embrace this requirement to foster an environment of enjoyment for everyone involved.
    By adhering to the Will County noise ordinance, we can strike a balance between creating a vibrant ambiance and preserving the peace. We understand that music is an integral part of events, adding rhythm and atmosphere that enhances every gathering. However, it is crucial to consider the comfort and tranquility of all tenants sharing the space.

  4. Nothing may be attached to the walls, windows, doors, ceilings, or bar area using thumb tacks, pushpins, nails, glue, staples, or tape.

  5. The use of confetti, glitter, straw, hay, rice, birdseeds are prohibited. 

  6. Fireworks and pyrotechnics are prohibited. Sparklers are prohibited without the consent of Creative & Elegant Events. All candles must be completely enclosed in glass or other non-flammable holder.

  7. Renters using the venue will be responsible for their general clean-up, and cleanup by their agents (caterers, decorators, etc.). Any renter leaving excess trash in the common areas, restrooms, bar area, prep area and outside may be subject to a deduction of their security deposit and additional charges.

  8. All equipment and belongings of the renter must be removed upon completion of rental.

  9. It is important to note that Creative & Elegant Events cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property belonging to our renters or event attendees, including vehicles.
